TEAM APPLICATIONS

Before anything, please read our how to apply page! Once you've done that, e-mail us at kyriakosmods@gmail.com with the subject: APP - Character Name (1st/2nd/3rd) and fill out the following below: OOC INFORMATION Your Name: Your Age: Please just note if you're over the age of 18 if you don't want to specify! Contact Info: We need at least an e-mail in the event we need to talk to you about the app. Timezone: Extra Activity: Only applicable if you're apping a third character. Requires 70 comments from both current characters within a month of the date your app is sent. IC INFORMATION Character Name: Canon: Character Background: Please give us a summarized background of your character! We don't need giant walls of text, but we want to know some of their history, too. We do allow links to Wikipedia pages if they serve as a thorough enough description. Character Personality: ~500 words at most, but if you have to go over that, no big deal. No Wikipedia links for this section please. We'd like you to show us you have a good grasp on the character's personality and motivations. Effects of Memory Loss: What will your character be like without their memories? Team Preferences: Is there a certain arc you'd like to take with your character that require certain "types" of characters? Fluffy feelings nerds, or ruthless murderers? Please note what kind of CR you're seeking for team relationships and what you think you'll need for your character to develop in the way you want to take them. You do not have to specify specific teams here, unless you want to. This section is for the mods to sort you onto a team that fits what you want. Personal Item: Every character gets to come in with an item from their world - something small ... ish. We can accept larger things, but please explain what this item would be if you feel it warrants discussion so we can makean informed decision. If they possess a suit or uniform that performs a function (think Batman's costume), it would count as their item. Sample: Please choose one of these options to send us: 1. Two threads: The length doesn’t matter too much as long as it gives us a good view on what your character is like (so don’t do short threads unless it’s a prose thread or something!) It can be from a previous game you've played the character in. 2. A prose or first-person sample: Please give us at least 150 words or so if you choose this option! 3. Survey: ICly fill this out! (Please try to elaborate on answering instead of just giving short one worded answers, or make up for it with some action brackets if the character is not talkative): Introduce yourself: What is one of your favorite things to do?: What is the most important thing that has happened to you in your life?: If you were the only person that could save your world, would you do it?: What aspects of yourself do you consider the most important?: Do you have a favorite skill?: Would you do anything to help the people or things that are most important to you? While Cats are more independent than the rest of the teams, in game events have made it so Cats are oftentimes required to work together. Another thing to keep in mind is that Nyssa and other Echoes can and will control Cats at times, or try to coerce them into doing tasks they might not ordinarily agree with! Please keep this in mind when apping your character. How well do they work with others? As mentioned, Cats will and are expected to work as a team, both in and out of games, on top of being able to work with teams they may be assigned to. How well do they work with others? Please give us at least one example from canon! Under what circumstances might they consider breaking the rules? Cats may occasionally be given unsavory orders in the name of maintaining the system! How might they react to this? Are there any circumstances in which they might risk punishment? (Note: we in no way want to discourage acts of rebellion, but it is something we’d like people to be aware of.) In some cases, this may be against their will; how do you think they’ll react in this instance? Which of the seven available pendant powers would your character tend to opt for/which do you feel suits your character best and why? A list of the powers can be found on the Cat information page. We will only accept fourths if you have proof of being around with your current Echoes and making attempts to run events and games.
